Research assistant at the Chair for Precision Engineering, Technical University of Kaiserslautern, 1994 – 2000. Supervision of research projects and development e.g. in the fields of test and measurement equipment, precision mechanics and micromachining; extensive development experience; significant teaching activities.

Doctorate at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern 2010. The dissertation topic was the “Capacitive measurement of bore diameters” and got the predicate “Summa cum laude”.

Start-up Building

2000: Establishment of an innovative spin-off company based on the Technical University of Kaiserslautern in the field of capacitive measurement technology and laser measurement technology. Personal promotion with the funded project IUG of the Federal State of Rhineland-Palatinate. Sale of the company in 2008.
